He is survived by: his wife Malorie Kinzer-McClerkin; his children, Dedtric McClerkin, Va'Qaya, Dedyra McClerkin of Nashville and Kayla Moats of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Tristan, Kendyll, Kyrah McClerkin of Nashville and Neyland Moats of Knoxville; his nieces, Shanterian Strayhorn and Harper Kinzer; his nephew Quinton McClerkin; his parents-in-law, Vanessa Coleman and James Kinzer; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Scales (Bobby) and Brandi Kinzer; and his friends, Carlos Turner and Carmelia Pearson. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends.
