He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Irene Allen Bates and Ralph L. Bates. He is survived by: his wife Angie Bates; his daughters, Jamie Moorehead (Jamison) and Shay Price (Stephen); his brother R. Curtis Bates (Terri); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Tylar Moorehead, Brady and Kasey Price.
