He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nance and Elizabeth Nance. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Brook Nance (Mary Carolyn), Stephen Nance (Lori) and Elizabeth Regas (Scott); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Tanner, Henry, Andelyn (Regas), Ellie and Harris Nance; and his brothers, Jim and Jule Nance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (608 Mt Hope St, Franklin, TN 37064). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the South End United Methodist Church (5042 Edmondson Pike, Nashville, TN 37211). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South End United Methodist Church, South End Preschool, Ducks Unlimited or Aveanna Hospice of Franklin, TN.
