With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Alvin Orr (Nashville, Tennessee), born in Bryson City, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2025 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his brother John Lewis Orr, Jr.; and his parents, Nancy Orr and John Lewis Orr. He is survived by: his wife Helen Freeman Orr; his children, Stephanie Pope (Jeff) and John Robert Orr (Darla); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan Pope, Bryson and Robert Orr.
