She was predeceased by: her parents, William Perryman and Myrtle Perryman; her husband Slayden Murphree; her son-in-law David James; her siblings, Joyce Brown, Guy Perryman, James Perryman and Charles Perryman; and her granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Murphree.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Murphree (Lisa) of Tupelo, MS, Faye Murphree James of Gulfport, MS and Nyla Murphree Osborn (Rick) of Olive Branch, MS; her grandchildren, Jason Murphree (Anna Leigh) of Corinth, MS, William Murphree of Rosenberg, TX, Robert Osborn III (Liz) of Hendersonville, TN, Rachel James Bellone (Matthew) of Pensacola, FL and Sarah Beth James Hodo (Devin) of Gulfport, MS.; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Declan, Coraline Grace Murphree of Corinth, MS, Lucy Sigrest of Pensacola, FL, Noah and Wilder Hodo of Gulfport, MS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
