She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Starkey, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, John W. Starkey, Jr. (Jan), Vicki Starkey Tyler (Rick), Kenny E. Starkey and Steven W. Starkey (Sandi); her grandchildren, Stacey Mullens (Barry), Ryan Starkey (Liz), Jeremy Tyler (Kim), Justin Tyler, Jerin Tyler, Timothy Blanco, Shannon Blanco, Lindsey Brundirks (Brett), Ashley Hutchinson (Scott) and Matthew Starkey; and her siblings, Dorothy Ivey, Loretta Taylor, Judy Strayn, Ellean Rodgers, Mary Palmore, Jackie Palmore and Dennis Palmore. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221). A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221).
