She is survived by: her father Howard Batterson (Shirley); her husband Troy Schmelzer; her children, Celtain Batterson of Chattanooga, TN and Donovan Craig of Murfreesboro, TN; her grandchildren, Rhys Batterson and Memphis Craig; and her siblings, Joyce Batterson, Bettendorf, Tana Sanders (Tommy Mickelson) and Deren Batterson (Michelle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
