Teresa leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Teresa’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She is survived by: her parents, Walter Lischak and Barbara Lischak; her husband John; her sons, Ryan and Brendan; her sister Cindy Mitchem (Heath); and her pet Lucky. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Matthew Catholic Church (535 Sneed Rd W, Franklin, TN 37069). A reception was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Laurelbrooke Pool & Clubhouse (1180 Waterstone Dr, Franklin, TN 37069).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial donations in Terri's honor to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University (https://tischbraintumorcenter.duke.edu), the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, or the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.
