He is survived by: his wife Vera Sue Friddell (Van Eaton); his children, Jay Friddell (Colleen), Johnna Marbut (Steve) and Joel Friddell (Kim Hayes); his grandchildren, Cristen Haddock (Connor), Nick Friddell, Julia Heidorn (Wil), J. T. Marbut (Rebecca), Trevor Marbut, Max Friddell and Ben Friddell (Darian); his sister Lynda Wilburn (Friddell); Scarlett Haddock, Ross Haddock and Hazel Mae Heidorn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Donelson Church of Christ (2706 Old Lebanon Rd, Nashville, TN 37214).
