He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Glenn Gibbs; and his parents, Thomas Coyle Heffernan, Sr. and Glenda Hudson Heffernan Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Heffernan; his children, Thomas Coyle Heffernan, III (Michelle) and Anitra Funger (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Azha Kratzer (Kendra), Damian Anter II, Jestie Rueda (Dru) and Conner Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Xander Kratzer and Kaison Rueda.
