We announce the death of Thomas Edwin Stinson (Nashville, Tennessee), born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 70. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Ed" Stinson and Velda Shore Stinson; his stepmother Syble Stinson; and his stepbrother Donnie Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Jannie Stinson; his sons, Scott Stinson (Becca) of Burns, Sheldon Heugel (Jon) of Athens and Cleve Stinson (Alexis) of Burns, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Samantha Heugel, Shelby Heugel, Charlotte Heugel and Cora Stinson; and his stepbrother Ronnie Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
