He is survived by: his wife Victoria Renee Owens; his siblings, Steven Leroy Boyd Owens, Walton Dean Owens, Donald Bruce Owens and Deborah Lee Merrell; his daughters, April Michelle Gurganus (Derrick), Megan Renee Hansel (Jacob) and Shelby Leigh Hightower (Ricky); and his grandchildren, Zachary Phelps, Avery Gurganus, Wyatt Hightower, Jace Hightower, Waylon Hightower, Baleigh Gurganus, Samantha Hansel and Elizabeth Hansel.
