He was predeceased by: his siblings, Etta Faye Kennedy (Bob), Sarah Roslyn Ray (Loyd), Alice Nell Johnson (Ray), James Hoover Hendrix (Virginia), Carlton Smith Hendrix (Mary Sue), Johnnie Lenora and Peggy Sue; and his parents, Carlos Hendrix and Icalena Hendrix (Lena).
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynne Smith Hendrix; his daughters, Susan Lynne O'Connell (Patrick) of Brentwood, TN and Leigh Anne McWhorter (Stuart) of Brentwood, TN; his grandchildren, Sarah Catherine, Sean O'Connell, Clayton, Thomas, Caroline, Marleigh and Layla McWhorter; his brother Lyndell Ray Hendrix (Loretta) of Bethel Springs; his sister-in-law Jonetta Smith Vise (James T.) of Parsons, TN; his children, Emilia, Linnea Widestrand, Christian, Faith, Blake and Nathan Cheng; Johan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
