With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Troy Wayne Evans (Nashville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evans and Rubie Evans; his wife Phyllis Evans; and his brothers, Leslie and Roger Evans.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tara Richardson (Andy), Noel Ogle (Tim) and Cher Tawater (Tim); and his grandchildren, Keeley Lee (Austin), Matt Ogle (Taylor), Brandon Peek (Brittany), Hunter Kilmon (Brandi), Wyatt Tawater, Jacob Ogle (Kelsey) and Savannah Tawater. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the West Harpeth Funeral Home (6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
