He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Vance Carlton Batts, Sr. and Gloria Gail. He is survived by: his siblings, Paula Batts Appleby of Old Hickory, TN, Kevin Batts (Debbie), Wayne Batts (Sharon) of Fairview, TN and Kelly Paddack Bilbrey (Batts) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
