He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wix and Vera Wix; and his siblings, Rhonda Wood, Theresa Hayes and Justin Wix.
He is survived by: his husband David Salter of Nashville; and his siblings, Frieda Redden, Glenda Etheridge of Lafayette, Tennessee, Jeff Sullivan of Westmoreland and Chris Wix of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
