With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Sue Brown (Nashville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2026 at the age of 86. Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Minnie Ruth Brown and Steven Brown. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Palmer McCullus (Byron) of Nashville, TN and Eric Johnson (Marcia) of Charlottesville, VA; her siblings, Peggie Brown of Willoughby, OH, Vandeleer "Ty" Brown (Janet) of Nashville, TN and William "Bird" Brown (Marshalene) of Nashville, TN; and her friends, Pat Barnes and Gwen Johnson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
