He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Garrison and Eleanor Garrison. He is survived by: his wife Doris Garrison; his siblings-in-law, Janet Woodman (Harvey), Karen Schoon (Grant) and Dean Synder (late Norma); and his nieces and nephews, Rev. Josuha Schoon, Rev. Clifford Woodman, Harvey Woodman Jr., Tricia Giacomini, Mindy Ely and Susan Berry. He is also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tulip Grove Baptist Church (563 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nashville National Cemetery (1420 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN 37115).
