William Ray Basham Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024, at the age of 81, William Ray Basham (Nashville, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Ray Basham to pay them a last tribute.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William Ray leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William Ray may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Basham and Loretta Mai Basham (Price); and his sister Carolyn Jean Edwards. He is survived by: his siblings, Ilda Virginia Denney (Bruce Binkley) and Carl Edward Basham; his children, Eric Todd Basham (Melissa), William Stokes Basham and Stephanie Rae Basham; and his grandson Andrew Todd Basham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home & Cemetery (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
