He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Wece and Dillie Branscum Wece; and his siblings, Adelene, Lucille, Roy, David, John, Clifford, Wanda and Roger.

He is survived by: his wife Lillie Williams Wece; his daughters, Debra Henderson, Sherry Malone and Brenda Edwards (Kenny); and his grandchildren, Gary Malone, Shannon Malone, Matthew Malone (Sherida), Angela Malone, Destiny Roland, Ryan Henderson (Jordan), Joshua Stroud (Jayma), Jacob Stroud (Tasha), Jessica Gahagan (Thomas), Joseph Stroud, Jonathan Stroud (Kassie), Benjamin Edwards, Asher Fidder (Brandon), Jonathon Edwards (Danielle) and Connor Lohman (David). He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
