She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Sanford Owens; and her son David Lynn Owens. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Owens (Melissa) of Morristown and Dean Owens of New Market; her grandchildren, Samuel Owens (Jessica) of White Pine and Izaac Owens (Taylor) of Talbott; and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Emma, Greyson and Abby Owens.
