He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred and Juanita Hawk; and his nephew Hayden Guy. He is survived by: his parents, Benny Barnett and Linda Barnett; his wife Matilda Barnett; his daughters, Alexis Bussell (Justin), Autumn Middleton and Abigail Barnett (Calobe Hawkins); his grandchildren, Sawyer Jessie Bussell and Weslyn Storm Bussell; his sister Ashley Johnson (Benji); his parents-in-law, Jerry and Sue Britton; his sibling's children, Harlee Guy, Alex Johnson and Cody Johnson; and his aunts and uncles, Pat Owens (Gene), Janis Cook (Gerald), Diane Hawk, Sue England, Allen Hawk, Joyce Buttery (Gary), Deloris Williams, David Barnett (Carolyn), Kenny Barnett, Roger Barnett and Arleen Wilson (Larry). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
