She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Duffield and Charlene Duffield; her husband Kenneth Hertz Jr.; and her siblings, Jeff Duffield and Donna Swinford.

She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Hertz (Widya) and Wes Hertz (Arielle); her grandchildren, Brodie, Lillie and Dylan Hertz; her brothers, Kenneth Duffield (Karen) and Doug Swinford (Tanya); and her sisters-in-law, Christina Cheffer (Larry) and Kathleen McComb.

Memorials may be made to the Kankakee County Human Society.
