He is survived by: his wife Ellen Howard Schoonover of New Tazewell; his children, Gary Wayne of Michigan, Shelley of Michigan, Kelley Schoonover of Michigan, Courtney Schoonover (Zachary Teshon) of Harlan, Breanna Schoonover of Florida, Curtis Schoonover of New Tazewell, Shawn Pace (Tracey) of Evarts, Matthew Pace (Beth) of Evarts and Ashley Pace of Evarts; his sister Kathy Mullendore (Mike) of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon Schoonover, Julia Cvengros (David), Natalie Little (Chris), Brook, Amber Parker, Charlotte Teshon, Trevor, Braxton, Mikey, Kylie Cloud, Desiree, Shaylee, Brooke, Maddox Pace, Nathan and Brayln Pace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
