Though John William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Gibson; his son Rick Ice; and his parents, Mont Gibson and Hazel Gibson. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Gay (Wesley); his grandchildren, Andrea Keck, Dylan Gay, Rachel Ice, Russell Ice and Joseph Ice; and his sister-in-law Janet Stansberry (Gary).
A reception will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Overholt Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825).
