She was predeceased by: her husband Perry Whitaker Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Joe Earls, Deloska Roberts, Patricia Carmack and Margaret Hensley.

She is survived by: her parents, James Earls and Lucy Earls Cupp; her children, Dustin Whitaker and Donna Sue Riggs; her grandchildren, Ashley, Donna Jo and Chasity; her great grandchildren, Lexi, Seth, Landon, Aden, Zander, Damen and Hadley; her grandchild Joslin Turner; and her brothers, Cecil Earls and Roger Earls (Stephanie).

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to her son Dustin Whitaker to help with the purchase of a headstone.
