He is survived by: his daughter Gina Goldsmith Comstock; his sister Thelma Bright (Al); his grandchildren, Angela Brooks Saunders and Bobby Brooks; his great grandchildren, Caylem Brooks, Candace Brooks, Riley Edwards and Devin Saunders; and his nephew Richard Brooks (Tina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
