He was predeceased by : his parents, James D. Lambert and Anna Belle Neff Lambert. He is survived by : his wife Darlene Underwood Lambert of Newbern, Tennessee; his children, Logan Lambert of Newbern, Tennessee and Carissa Malatesta (Mark) of Port Orange, Florida; his siblings, Robert Lambert of Alexandria, Louisiana and Judith Lambert Emrick (Rick) of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Brianna Klutts and Morgan Klutts (Haley).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery - Newbern Email (416 Jefferson St, Newbern, TN 38059).
