With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Lemons of Newbern, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joe departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joe may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joe leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Lewis Lemons and Ruby Nell McCord Lemons; his wife Judy Scobey Lemons; and his brothers, Wayne Lemons, Roger Lemons and Albert Lemons.
He is survived by: his sister Lela Hartsfield of Dyersburg; and his caregivers, Crystal and Corey Musser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Dyer County Memorial Gardens (2455 St John Avenue, TN-211, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
