She was predeceased by: her husband L. D. Brooks; and her siblings, Jean Neas, Wanda Wilson, Billy Wilson and Joe Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, David Brooks (Mikki) of Jefferson City, TN and Jan Brooks of Newport, TN; her grandchildren, Austin Brooks (Brianna), Hannah Brooks, Jordan Brooks, Sydney Brooks Johnson, Angela Greenman (Noah) and Juli Sams; her great grandchildren, Josie, Olivia, Mila, Ariana, Kade, Deacon and Salem; and her sister-in-law Mary Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to. She Rises Foundation, Newport, TN or Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice.
