He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton George Ellison and Francis Toppie Ellison; his siblings, Patty Hodges and Joe Ellison; and his niece Chelsea Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ellison; his siblings, Wimp Ellison (Heather), Karen Sisk of Newport, June Rathbone (Don) of Del Rio, Michelle Ball of Newport and Kim Fleming (Bruce) of Del Rio; and his brother-in-law Charles Hodges of Alton, IL. He is also survived by 8 nieces, 6 nephews, 10 great-nephews, and 7 great-nieces.
