She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jr. Miller and Bobbie Frances Miller; her parents-in-law, Guy Sr. and Magda Hommel; her sisters, Sandra Taylor and Sharon Kear; and her brother-in-law Bill Blazer.
She is survived by: her friend Debbie; her husband Ronnie Hommel; her son Dustin; her daughter-in-law Monica Hommel; her son Derek Hommel (Lanie Bryant); her grandchildren, Halle, Parker, Logan and Elle; her brother George Donnie; her siblings-in-law, Kathy Miller, Guy Jr., Gayla Hommel and Dolly Hommel; and her close friends, Carolyn Proffitt, Vickie Moore and Paula Sane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West End Baptist Church (116 West End St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery (420 Mineral St, Newport, TN 37821).
Donations may be made to the Parrottsville Fire Department, Cocke County Retired Teachers Association, the National Kidney Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
