He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ervin and Bertha Talley; and his siblings, Ada Ruth Arwood, June Jarnigan, Bootsie Goins, Rosa Greenlee, Herbert Talley, J. B. Talley, E. Talley and Bob Talley.
He is survived by: his brother Johnny Lawson; his niece Donna; and his nephew Bryan Owenby. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home West Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37814).
