He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Soesbee and Bertie Soesbee; and his brothers-in-law, Michael White and James Oberst (Peggy Oberst). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Oberst Soesbee; his son Ian Soesbee of Newport; his sister Sheron White of Chattanooga; and his siblings-in-law, Dottie Oberst Pruvenok of Rossville, Georgia and Joe Oberst (Patty Oberst) of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
