He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowery Hurst and Kanzada Hurst; his siblings, Unita Inman, Delores Horn and Delbert Hurst; and his grandson Ben Webb.

He is survived by: his wife Dora Sue Morgan Hurst; his children, Connie Webb (Terry), Tim Hurst (Toni) and Greg Hurst; his grandchildren, Molly Bennett (Craig), Amanda Hurst, Sam Webb and Jack Webb; and his great grandchildren, Craig Bennett and Porter Bennett.

“So sorry to see that Herbert had passed. I had just been looking through some old photos and found the ones that I took when we visited with Ninnie ( Pandora ) back in 1971. Thought I would do a search on Herbert and this is what I found. He lived a full life. I hope he didn't have to deal with much suffering. My mom, Hope, died 15 Feb 2018. Tim is married and has 3 children. I live in the family home. Our lots connect. We are all fine. Please take care, wishing you all the best, Larry Black”
