He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Deane Williams; his daughter Marsha Large; his son-in-law Tony; his parents, Harry Williams and Mary Lou Williams; and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Cleta Nease.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Williams (Louneil), Bobby Williams and Marilyn Austin (Carroll); and his close friend Roy Caldwell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren also other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery (420 Mineral St, Newport, TN 37821-3900).
