With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharleen Marcella Sane of Newport, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Clifford Dewayne Sane Sr.; her parents, Clayton Berry and Marcella Berry; her parents-in-law, Earl and Ruby Sane; her brother Charlie Sane; her sister-in-law Violet Wade; and her aunt Rowena Berry.

She is survived by : her children, Marcee Cruz of Dandridge, Shelley Cruz of Morristown, Ed Cruz (Beth Gregg) of Dandridge, Clifford Sane (Tracy) of Sevierville, Christy Williams (Ralph) of Cosby and Cathy LaFollette (Robert) of Florida; her grandchildren, Ashley Dudley (Daniel), Hamilton "Ben" Morris, Caryn Sentelle (John), Makayla Mckinney (TJ), Taylor Sane, Zach Sane, Grant Williams, Jeremy Williams (Patricia), Nikki Henry (JR), Ronnie Downs (Deanna), Matthew Downs and Amanda Downs; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Isaac, Ellie Grace, Caiden, Charlotte, Peyton, Penelope, Alex, Trevor, Ashley, Damion, Shelby and Eva Grace. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.

A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Church Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Chapel (322 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
