She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Michael Dillard, James Warren Dillard and Elizabeth Ann Huskey (Dillard); and her brother-in-law Matthew Trava Huskey.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church (234 Lincoln Ave, Newport, TN 37821). She shared her love of food and community through the Newport Plain Talk column, "Cocke County Cuisine," and found strength and fellowship at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended in recent years following her recovery from COVID.
