He was predeceased by : his wife Trula Costner; his parents, Clyde "Derby" Costner and Margaret Jenkins; his brother-in-law Charles Cureton; and his aunt Betty Pierce.
He is survived by : his daughter Wendy Atkins (Todd); his grandchildren, Casey Reed (Jessie), Curtis Atkins, Kaylee Beretta (Joseph) and Callie Atkins; his great grandchildren, Jacelyn Green, Mallory Reed, Ellie Reed and Owen Beretta; his siblings-in-law, Randy Cureton (Donna) and Wanda Cureton of Newport; and his close friend Glennita Starnes. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
