He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Eldridge and Jean Eldridge. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sherrill Eldridge of Niota, Tennessee; his children, Lon Matthew Eldridge of Chattanooga, David Lee Eldridge of Niota, Tennessee and Betty Jean McDonald (Joseph) of Spring City, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kimberly Kirkland and Brandon Eldridge; and his siblings, Rev. Johnnie Eldridge (Joan) of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia and Lois Eldridge Hefner (Dan) of Dayton, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
