He is survived by: his wife Jean Wells; his children, Susan Gill (Tim), Brenda Wheeler (Bill) and Robert Wells (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Matthew Pardue (Carrie), Cara Vantrease (Jeb), Cristin Pardue, Holly Bechard (Chad), Emily Conley (Donnie), Jordan Wheeler (Kacie), Melanie Merrill (Cameron) and Lindsey Wells. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
