She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Monroe Carroll; her husband Ralph Douglas Sanford; her children, Robin Tice and Jerry "Bubba" Cohea; her grandson Carry Ladd; and her siblings, Jerry Carroll and Polly Lewis.
She is survived by: her mother Geneva Webster Carrol; her children, Debra Frazier (Richard) of Mt. Juliet, Terry Cohea (Betsy) of Murfreesboro and April Cohea of Covington, GA; Jessica Tice and Justin Tice (Megan). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
