He was predeceased by: his mother Beulah Rae Powers Coker; his son Tony Ray Coker; his siblings, Carter Mac Coker, Shirley Curtis, Joanne Reynolds, Judy Faye Powell and Barbara Neil Floyd; and his siblings' children, Jennifer Lynn Powell, Rebecca Anne Huffman and John G. Smith.

He is survived by: his father George Cline Coker; and his siblings, George Danny Coker (Judy) of Chattanooga and Linda Partin (Bill) of Winchester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
