She was predeceased by : her parents, Zee Melton and Reba Mitchell Melton; and her siblings, Betty Irwin, Ruth Murphy, June Henderson and James Melton.

She is survived by : her siblings, Clifton Melton (Judy) of Clinton, TN, Clayton Foust (Pam) and Faye Melton McCoy of Andersonville, TN.. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and her church family.
