She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Bates and Ruthie Loveless Armstrong; and her siblings, James Bates, Ruby Nell Jenkins and Jerry Lee Bates.
She is survived by: her husband George Kenneth Pruitt Sr. of Nunnelly; her children, Kenneth Pruitt Jr. of Nunnelly and Tonya Pruitt of Lyles; her grandsons, Kanyon Pruitt and Bradley Parker; her great grandchildren, Levi Parker and Bryce Parker; and her sister Patricia Springer.
