Cora Eva Empfield Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cora Eva Empfield (Oak Ridge, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T Henry and Anna Maye Bender Henry; and her husband William Martin Empfield. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth William (Cheri Duvall) and Donna Lee (Richard Dean Binnie); her grandchildren, Amy Binnie Martin (Nick), Eric Binnie (Lisa), Robert and Stephen Empfield; her great grandchildren, Andrew James, Katelyn and Nathan Martin; her sister-in-law Edna Henry; and her brother Robert Shaw. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
