With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lee Copeland of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. Nash Copeland and Juanita Lowe Copeland; his wife Johnnie Copeland; his son Mark Douglas Copeland; his brother Robert Nash Copeland; his daughter Terry; his son-in-law Robert Pfeiffer of Oak Ridge; his son David, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kandi Copeland of Oak Ridge; his daughter Jean; his son-in-law Barry Wells of Gallatin; his grandchildren, Matthew Eli Miller and Kelly Copeland Williams (Chris); his stepgrandson Michael Pfeiffer (Megan Wade); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Pat Copeland of Pearl River, LA; his great grandchild Audrey Akin; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Addicus and Adrien Simpson. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
