She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin E. Koons of Oak Ridge; her parents, Julian Meldahl and Emma Meldahl; and her siblings, Julian Meldahl, Jr., Bonnie Iverson and Mary Jane Nudell.
She is survived by: her sister Nadine Smith; her sons, Monty (Doreen), Steve (Sandy), Jeff and Gary; her grandchildren, Christina Bowers, Ryan Koons and Elijah Koons; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Landon, Ava and Lillian. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
