She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie B. Kirk and Addie Pearl Kirk; her siblings, Frank Kirk, Roy "Pop" Kirk Sr., Randy "Flakes" Kirk, Jimmy Kirk, Eloise Kirk and Alberta Cole of Birmingham; and her sister-in-law Lois Kirk (Jimmie Lewis Jr.).
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia "Nette" Rupert of Oak Ridge and David Earl Lewis (Chevelle) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Michael Rupert, Miles Lewis, Maya Lewis, Elizabeth Phipps, Brenda Kirk, Wilma Kirk and Denise Kirk; her aunt Cali Kirk; and her friends, Mary Hawkins, Mary Emma Lee and Alma Stephens. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
