He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar C. Loeffler and Miralda P. Loeffler; and his wife Patty. He is survived by: his children, Douglas J. Loeffler, Jr. (Kay), Pamela Loeffler Vierling (Dan) and Michael P. Loeffler (Karen); his grandchildren, Erin, Emily, Marina, Michael, Sarah, Jenny, Brian and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Belle, Luke, Emma, Brooke, Tanner, Jace, Jackson, Addie and Olivia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riverside Military Academy or Amedisys Hospice in his honor.
